I hired David Miles, of David Miles Photography in Sherwood, Ar to shoot my wedding photos earlier this year. We choose David because he seemed to be a talented photographer who was very nice and genuine. We hired him with the impression that he would shoot our wedding and return edited photos to us in a reasonable amount of time. As it turns out, I, like many others have yet to receive my photos from David Miles. The worst part isn't only that I have not received the pictures, but that as soon as I gave him the final payment (required before the day of the wedding) he stopped responding to any phone calls or emails from me. Now, about 5 months later, I still have heard nothing from him.
A professional photographer would respect their clients, especially when it comes to something as precious as their wedding photos, and at the very least stay in touch with them, even if he was to fall behind on editing the photos. I'm not sure what the situation is with David but I can say that although he seems to be a very nice, honest, and down to earth individual when shooting photos with him, I can say with 100% certainty that I would not recommend him to anyone that I know. What's the point in having someone shoot great photos if they are never give them back to you? I've heard some people say that they've had to wait 6+ months to get their photos back. To me, this seems completely unacceptable and unprofessional.

David used to be listed on a site called decidio.com where there were many bad reviews from previous clients. It seems as though David has in the meantime decided to remove his listing from this site so that future clients won't have access to this negative feedback. Feel free to post here if you have had a negative experience with David Miles, and what action you took in order to finally receive your wedding photos from him.
